Sagarika Mishra is an Associate Professor of Finance at Deakin Business School, Deakin University. With a PhD in Applied Economics from Western Michigan University, alongside an MBA from the University of Calcutta and a BA in Economics from Utkal University, Sagarika brings a wealth of academic expertise and international experience to her field. Having lived in the City of Monash since moving to Australia, Sagarika is proud to call Glen Waverley home. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Odia, and Bengali, and enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. Outside of her professional life, she has a passion for reading and cooking, always eager to try new recipes and explore different cuisines. Sagarika has joined the Rotary Club of Monash Glen Waverley with a strong desire to contribute to the community through educational initiatives, particularly those that empower individuals and create opportunities for learning and growth. Her brother is an active Rotarian in Cleveland, USA, and she is excited to continue the family’s connection to Rotary and its tradition of service above self.

   

 

 

 

 

 

Sandip Dhole is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at Monash Business School, Monash University. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Houston, as well as an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Calcutta. With a strong academic background and extensive teaching experience, Sandip is dedicated to shaping the next generation of business leaders through education and mentorship. Since arriving in Australia, Sandip has been proud to call the City of Monash home. He speaks English, Hindi, and Bengali, and values the cultural diversity and vibrant community spirit of Glen Waverley. Beyond his academic work, Sandip enjoys reading, photography, and listening to music, particularly Indian Classical compositions and the works of Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. Sandip has joined the Rotary Club of Monash Glen Waverley with a passion for giving back to the community, especially through educational initiatives that foster knowledge-sharing and personal development. Inspired by Rotary’s ethos of service above self, he looks forward to contributing his skills and experience to the club’s projects and outreach activities.
